Default another possble warrior armor problem

i am still in the middle of farming yet another totem axe for one of my casters and i decided to test something. i tried a full set of gladiators armor with an ascalon helm vs a full set of sentinals for dmg taken from wand attacks dealt by life pods which i think are fire dmg. i could be wrong so plz correct me if i am on wand dmg. i checked wiki for monster stats but didnt find the info there. i took steady 1-3 dmg with no armor taking less or more.
any input of facts into this is appreciated.
and yes my str was at 13
also wanted to add this idea ive had since before armor update -nerf all wand dmg

Perhaps they shoot a thorn or somesuch so the damage is physical, they don't actually have wands. So Galdiators = Sentinels in that case.

Nerf wand damage? Why?

Are you concerned about the damage life pods are doing? Why?

Are you concerned about armor inconsistencies? Use the obelisk @ the PvP training grounds to test.

..and yeah, you want to nerf wand damage.. why?

Nerf wand damage? Pointless to do so.

OMG 3 dmg my heavily armored warrior is doooooooomed! Flee flee for your lives I can no longer tank!

Just in case you're not aware of...3dmg builds up a lot.

There is lighting damge not fire a in some rods.

Wow this thread sucks. Nerf wand damage? That has to be the most radical warrior complaint EVER even in amongst the forum rants.

yea, nerf the wand dmg.. and also nerf all "spells" exept for mending.. And now where we are updating we might aswell buff the dmg of melee weapons, cus they aint doing anywhere near enough dmg o.o .. [/Sarcasem off]

On a note tho, i dont like the Absorbtion nerf, but nerfing Wand dmg is plain stupid

Nope, I've seen some IWAYer complain on gwonline that wards aren't balanced and need to cost 25+exhaustion. Pre-OoA, of course.

I think this would have to settle for second place in terms on being ridiculous.

I agree wands are imba! Have you guys seen even seen the figure for their dps under an ias??
